China Bitch-Slaps U.S.

Things go from bad to worse. As if weathering the collapsing economy wasn’t bad enough, China, who to our detriment has a major stake in the U.S. economy, is lecturing us on how to run a country.

Hank “I don’t have a freakin’ clue” Paulsen went to Beijing for a couple of days and had his ass handed to him by Zhou Xiaochuan, governor of the Chinese central bank. He told Paulsen that the U.S. depends too much on credit, and is a gross overconsumer (thanks Wal-Mart). Wang Qishan, a vice-premier at the talks also gave Paulsen and earful, imploring him to do something to protect Chinese assets. Apparently all Paulsen had to say to them was please don’t hurt us.

Shame on us. Shame on a country that kills to get into a Wal-Mart, shame on a country that outsources good jobs, and then in-sources the remaining ones. Shame on a country that makes text books so expensive that qualified students can’t go to college (even though most of the material is available for free on the internet). Shame on a country the runs up $10 trillion in debt, bails out every sob story it hears, and then tells you to tighten your belt, because those same companies will be outsourcing your job to save a buck. Shame on a country that leaves its borders open because there are jobs that Americans won’t do. Do you think the half-million people that lost their jobs last month are still falling for that line? Competing with some stiff making 10 cents an hour is not competition, it f*****g over Americans.
