Banks Refuse To Account For Your Bailout Money

It’s the ultimate arrogance for those supposed bright financial minds that drove companies that were worth billions of dollars into the ground. When banks were asked what they were doing with the money, they couldn’t come up with a straight answer.

The AP contacted 21 banks that were recipients of our money and asked 4 simple questions: How much has been spent? What was it spent on? How much is being held in savings, and what’s the plan for the rest? All they got was the proverbial finger from all of them. Why should they answer? The buffoons in congress that actually facilitated this transfer of wealth had nothing in the bill that would hold these institutions accountable. They even left a huge loophole that would allow these crooked executives to still rake in huge bonuses.

This is the biggest ripoff in history, and the banks are laughing in the face of America. They don’t need to be competent, not when they have your paycheck to back them up…
