Hey, it’s Chicago politics. If it wasn’t crooked, it wouldn’t be Illinois. It turns out that Roland Burris, the man Rod Blagojevich appointed to take Obama’s vacated senate seat has changed his story in regard to the contact he had with the ex-governor’s crew. Initially he said he only met with Blago’s chief of staff, but, well, he’s changed his story.
Turns out that Burris talked money with Bob Blago, Rod’s brother. Apparently he forgot to mention this to investigators. Any ramifications for old Roland? Hard to say. What is and what should be are rarely the same anymore.
